IBM readies the first public Beta of Notes/Domino7. The beta will include the much discussed tighter DB/2 integration and an overhauled MIME converter (That is bitterly needed). You can access the beta download on TSFNANN.

P.S.: For everybody who missed their Latin lessons: "ante portas" is taken from "Romani ante portas" = "The Romans are at the city gates". An outcry during the biggest expansion of the Roman empire, which usually spelled the end of the independence for that particular city. I do not imply, that IBM is the Romans of today, there is a different company (from Redmond) that qualifies much better.
